KUKICHA – FIRST FLUSH 50G
“Kuki” means “stalk” in Japanese and Kukicha describes a stalk-leaf tea. The aiya – THE TEA Kukicha consists of overshadowed green tea stems and the leaf ribs of high quality Sencha. As a result, it contains little caffeine and can be drunk in the evening. It has an intense dark green color and tastes slightly fruity and mild-sweet.
Kukicha comes mainly from the second or third crop. We recommend this tea for green tea beginners, because it is easy to prepare and it is mild in taste.
Japanese tea lovers add 2.5g of Kukicha – First Flush to 100ml of water and brew for 60 seconds at 80°C. For the second brew, use hot water at 80°C and drink the green tea right away.
